A Williamsburg vacation is like two vacations in one!

A Williamsburg vacation is like visiting two distinct worlds. One minute you can step back into the history of America. The next minute, you can explore the thrills and excitement of today. It’s a place where you can be enchanted by the sights, sounds and stories of yesteryear, yet delighted by modern day conveniences and thrilled by world class theme parks and attractions.

From the historic buildings of the Colonial area to Busch Garden’s state-of-the-art roller coasters, Williamsburg offers two starkly contrasting environments that make for a truly unique vacation experience.

A Williamsburg vacation takes you back to the beginning of America…to a time and place where many of our founding fathers were putting the pieces in place to create a new country…a place where colonial unrest for equality, freedom and independence grew into a revolution that changed the face of the world.

Colonial Williamsburg looks and feels much as it did during the 1800s and the area remains America’s largest living history museum.  The area features more than 500 original and carefully reconstructed public buildings, 40 exhibit buildings, private homes, quaint inns and taverns, shops and 90 acres of public parks and gardens.

History aside, Williamsburg offers a second world of modern day amusement at nearby Busch Gardens – regularly voted the world’s “most beautiful theme park.”  You’ll also find a refreshing water park, fabulous shopping and dining, outstanding golf courses and a variety of unique entertainment venues that help make a Williamsburg vacation package the ideal getaway for couples or families.

Whether you prefer to come for the history or the thrills, you can learn more about a great discount Williamsburg vacation package by visiting www.historicwilliamsburgusa.com.
